This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have regarding your information.

We collect information you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Submit an inquiry form on our website

  • Submit a lead form through Facebook, Instagram, or other advertising platforms

  • Call or text us

  • Email us

  • Tour one of our houses

  • Apply for residency

  • Are referred to us by a treatment provider, family member, or other third party

The information we may collect includes:

  • Name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Gender

  • Date of birth (if provided)

  • Target move-in date

  • Insurance type or payment method

  • Referring program, clinician, or individual (if applicable)

  • Length of sobriety at time of inquiry

  • Prior treatment history (if voluntarily disclosed)

  • Communication preferences

We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age. Our services are intended for adults.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry about sober living housing

  • Communicate with you about availability, scheduling tours, and the application process

  • Verify your insurance coverage or payment eligibility, where applicable

  • Coordinate with your referring treatment provider, with your consent

  • Send you appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages

  • Improve our services and respond to questions or feedback

  • Comply with legal obligations, including reporting requirements that may apply to our operations

3. Text Message Communications

By providing your phone number and consenting via our inquiry forms, you agree to receive text messages from LA Sober Homes regarding your inquiry, scheduling, tour confirmations, application status, and related communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may receive a final confirmation message after opting out. For help, reply HELP.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only as follows:

  • With your referring provider or family member, only with your explicit verbal or written consent

  • With our service providers (such as customer relationship management software, SMS service providers, and email service providers) who help us operate our business, under contractual obligations to protect your information

  • With law enforcement or regulatory agencies, when required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our residents or staff

  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case the receiving party would be bound by this Privacy Policy or provide notice of any changes

We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing third parties for their own commercial purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services, respond to your inquiries, comply with our legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Inquiry information from individuals who do not become residents is generally retained for up to two years and then deleted. Resident records are retained for the duration of residency plus a period required by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are a California resident, you have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to:

  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions

  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
